CHECK 01
Use the specified power setup
Use the battery, cable, and charging instructions supplied for your equipment. Standard's listed charging connection is USB-C; that does not mean every cable, adapter, or battery is interchangeable. Check the supplied requirements.
CHECK 02
Inspect before charging
Look for visible damage and make sure the equipment is in a suitable condition and location for charging, following its instructions. Stop if a battery, cable, or device appears damaged. Do not experiment with a damaged battery.
CHECK 03
Store the complete kit deliberately
Follow the supplied storage directions, keep small parts together, and leave cables where you can find them. Check the caller and remote independently before the next trip. Do not infer a waterproof rating from appearance.
CHECK 04
Plan for the route as well as the stand
Keep independent outdoor essentials in your packing plan. The remote's integrated light can simplify handling at a stand; a separate hands-free light may still be appropriate for the walk back.
A useful next step.
